How much does face painting cost ?

Rates start at $185/hour and will vary depending on number of attendees, date/time and location of event. The hourly rate includes travel time to/from the event.  If there is bridge toll and/or a parking fee for your location, those costs will be added to your hourly rate.


How much time should I book for my party?

I am a fast (and accurate!) face painter, so for a typical birthday party (10-15 children) you only need an hour of painting.  In that time frame, each child will likely receive 2 designs.  I can very easily paint 25+ designs in one hour, often times more depending on the size and complexity of the design each person selects. For larger parties, or parties where you'd like all the adults to also participate, 90 minutes or 2 hours works great! 


What time during my party should I schedule face painting?

Ideally, you should schedule face painting to occur at least 30 minutes after the start of your party, or at the time you anticipate most/all of your attendees to be present.  This gives time for any late arrivals and ensures that everyone gets a chance to participate and enjoy the activity while I am scheduled to be there.


Do I have to pay a deposit?

I do not typically require a deposit to book your party!  However, if I receive multiple requests for the same date/time, I will request a small deposit to ensure we are proceeding.  I do ask that if your plans change and you need to cancel, please let me know right away so I can adjust both my business and personal calendars, as well as any childcare plans I have in place.
